A startup called Human Demand is coming out of stealth today to enter the ever-growing mobile advertising industry with a new platform to help developers acquire more users. Its radical ideas: transparency and control. On Human Demand’s exchange, developers can see where their mobile ads are running down to the very app in which they appear. TechCrunch: Sonic Notify Raises $4.25 Million, Partners With Interscope To Deliver Interactivity To Mobile Apps

From TechCrunch on DEV’s newest portfolio company: “Musicians are looking for new ways to make their shows more interactive and to connect with fans. And Sonic Notify thinks it’s got just the technology to do so. Here comes money for media startups: former MediaNet CEO Alan McGlade and VC Michael Yang are announcing the launch of a new NYC-based firm called DEV (Digital Entertainment Ventures) whose early stage capital fund which will invest in next-gen digital media companies. To kick off its launch, DEV is today revealing its first two investments, a live music platform called StageIt and mobile gaming company Mad Humans
